5 Days a unique jungle safari trail / Jungle camp-Homestay


- This is a unique experience of nature and culture experience through the untouched jungle and village community in Nam Ha NPA with expert forest tour guides,
- Guide will teach us about the indigenous people’s lifestyle used by local hunters in round three days in the dense forest, sleep at the banana leaf camp do fishing and frog hunting.
- The wildlife jungle camp and village homestay will bring us up to walk deeper into Nam Ha NPA
- Always learning about medicinal plants and animal habits, cooking species collected on the way without modern utensils at the campsite, and setting traditional hunter self-mad tent.
Day 1 Luang Namtha - Bamboo Hut
At 9:00 AM, meeting the group and tour guide briefly in the office, and then we get on minivan to the starting point.
During the way of driving, We stop at the local market to buy some food supplies. The trekking point starts from Nam Ha village, here get a local guide who is well known for the trail, herb, plant, and wildlife tracks in that region.
Before getting into the untouched jungle of the Nam Ha National Protected Area in which you may encounter and hear some wildlife or just see their track, a picnic lunch will be stopping on the way when we are hungry.
Our guides will share their ancestral knowledge about the traditional use of medicinal plants, and edible leaves, teach us to set up the traditional hunter camp, and prepare delicious Khmu jungle food, using the supplies and resources of the jungle for a truly unique experience. Thereafter, We continue the trek downhill through the primary forest until the campsite.
Days 2 Bamboo Hut - Jungle Camp
In the morning, we can get up early to enjoy many kinds of animals singing to one another from the higher mountain tops around the campsite.
After breakfast, on this day is following the way back until the first day stops. From here the trail is in the valley of Nam Ha NPA. After lunch we continue hiking downhill slightly to the stream,
Where there are a lot of canopies from huge, so we will be arriving at the village before the sun sets. After checking in at your homestay, you have time to walk around the village and learn about their lifestyle, culture, and traditions.
After dinner on local food, you will enjoy the tourism activities offered by the community.
Day 3 Jungle Camp 1- Jungle Camp 2
In the morning we still have time to visit the village, test Lao Coffee or local tea with bamboo cups, and get a chance to practice crossbow shooting and rice ponding by hand.
After breakfast, we will hike up a steep hill to get a great viewpoint, the trail is more challenging, but it is also more and more beautiful forest, landscape, and canopy through a forest of Nam Ha NPA.
Traditional lunch will be prepared on the way to the responsible route on the forest path. Thereafter, we will have an easy two-hour hike down the mountain slope until we arrive at the Chalernsouk village, where we will overnight.
Day 4 Jungle Camp 2 - Hill-tribe homestay
At 9:00 am, start the trek from the village, the trail winds its way up through dense rainforest before crossing streams at the base of a shaded valley and then on through a cultivated land.
During the hike our guides will take time to identify and discuss plants and trees and how they are important to the local indigenous people.
We stop for a picnic lunch in the heart of the jungle, taking time to appreciate the tranquil beauty of the natural landscape.
After lunch we continue the hike, as the trail courses beneath the of impressive old-growth trees after passing through exquisitely cultivated lands, the trek ends at Doilukkham. Following an invigorating minivan ride, we arrive back in Luang Namtha.
Day 5 Hill-tribe Village -Luang Namtha
At 9:00 AM, start the trek from the village, the trail winds its way up through dense rainforest before crossing streams at the base of a shaded valley and then on through a cultivated land.
During the hike our guides will take time to identify and discuss plants and trees and how they are important to the local indigenous people.
We stop for a picnic lunch in the heart of the jungle, taking time to appreciate the tranquil beauty of the natural landscape.
