This is a two-day guided jungle trekking and cultural experience in the Luang Namtha region.
Day 1: Luang Namtha - Nalan hill-tribe village experience
- Depart from Luang Namtha, visiting a local market first.
- Embark on a 4-5 hour hike through dense rainforest, valleys, and past streams.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch in the jungle.
- Arrive at the remote Nalan village of the Khmu people for an overnight homestay.
- Options include swimming, exploring, and a communal dinner.
Day 2: Nalan hill-tribe village experience - Back to Luang Namtha Laos
- Wake up in the village, enjoy breakfast, and participate in local activities like rice pounding and using a bamboo crossbow.
- Begin a 3-4 hour hike, first along the scenic Nam Ha River and then through pristine primary forest with some steep climbs.
- Reach a high viewpoint before descending to NamLue village, where the trek ends in the afternoon.
