Day 1 Luang Namtha to Nalan authentic village

We meet at the P Adventure office at 9:00am. Our minivan service will drop us off After a half an hour transfer to the south direction, we will stop at Chaluensouk village, where our trek starts. There you will meet our village guide who will assist us during the whole journey, helping us to carry some food for later. 

During the first part of the trek we will walk up to the top of the mountain. Then along the ridge line of a mountain range, until we head down through a wonderful dense green forest. Along the way one of our guides will serve you lunch. You will keep on walking until the bottom where you will put your bag down in our sanctuary camp in a great location surrounded by a magnificent old-growth forest. 

After taking a small break we will encourage you to walk along a stream, take a bath in a several cascades waterfall under the big old trees. Later you will learn from your guide how to cook as locals do using bamboo and how to make a campfire. The rest of the evening you can spend exchanging conversations by the bonfire or go to spot some wildlife during the night.

Day 2 Nalan authentic villager to Luang Namtha P Adventures office 

Wake up to the enchanting sounds of the jungle and a delicious authentic Lao breakfast. We then experience more local activities such as rice pounding and using a bamboo crossbow. At approximately 10:00am we begin a 45m-1 hour hike along the serene and scenic Nam Ha river, passing huge trees, bamboo forests and quaint tribal villages. 

Upon reaching the cultivated lands surrounding the Namkoy villages, we stop to meet the Lantan people and enjoy a rewarding Lao-style picnic lunch. We return to the jungle trail and hike for 3-4 hours through a pristine primary forest, home to a rich abundance of animal and plant life. The trail takes a gradual to steep inclination, rising to an elevation of 300m.

From a high point with breathtaking views across the Nam Ha NPA the trail makes a steep descent through the forest, eventually reaching ​Jalersouk village at approximately 4-5:00pm and the end of the trek.
